Lightweight enough to strap to my pack without noticing it, and the aluminum shaft hasn't bent even after a windy weekend at the lake. The 78-inch height gives my tarp plenty of headroom to actually sit under.
The two-inch grommet tip fits my tarp's eyelet fine, but the aluminum feels thinner than I'd like for the price. It works for calm days; I wouldn't trust it in a stiff wind.
