Set this up under my tent on a rocky site last weekend and the floor stayed completely scuff-free. The fact that it's cut a bit smaller than the tent floor means no edges poking out to catch rain. Nice little peace of mind for the price.
The footprint being cut slightly smaller than the tent floor is a smart touch, no bunching or exposed edges poking out. It took the abuse from gravel and roots instead of my tent floor.
Bought this for a rocky trip and my tent floor came back without a single scuff. It's cut a bit smaller than the floor on purpose, so it tucks under neatly with nothing sticking out to catch rain.
