Took these from a paved path straight onto a gravel loop and they handled both without feeling clumsy. The midsole stays springy even late in a longer run, and the ride is light enough that my legs aren't wrecked the next day.
The FF BLAST MAX midsole is what sold me — my knees feel way less beat up after a 10k than they did in my old pair. They've got enough grip for the gravel path near my house too, so I stopped switching shoes mid-week.
Took these from a paved greenway onto a dirt loop and the FF BLAST MAX midsole handled both without feeling mushy. Still springy after about 60 miles, and the toe box doesn't pinch on longer runs.
