I expected to have to muscle this one, but it rewards a smooth pull instead — throw it at 70% and it holds the line I put it on. The control is the whole point here, and it actually delivers on that.
Threw the Freetail on a tight wooded line and it held the curve exactly where I aimed instead of flipping over. It really does reward a smooth pull rather than muscling it, which took me a couple of throws to figure out. Easily my most controllable driver now.
The Freetail really does fly straight when you back off and let it glide, so the control aspect is legit. But on my arm it needed way more touch than I expected, and a couple of throws turned over hard before I figured out the release. Decent disc, just not the easy driver I was hoping for.
