Wore this on a windy hike last weekend and the medium weight was just right, warm without overheating once I got moving. The pullover cut layers cleanly under a shell too.
The hood actually stays put instead of flopping around when I'm working outside, which is rare for a pullover like this. Medium weight is spot on for layering over a tee without getting sweaty.
Wore this on a chilly morning hike and it was the perfect layer — the medium weight keeps you warm without overheating once you get moving. The hood fits close without feeling tight, which I didn't expect from a pullover.
