Plugged this into my canoe setup to run two light bars off one battery and it clicked in solid on the first try. The split is clean with no flicker on either bar, which the standard connector couldn't manage on longer trips.
Wasn't sure I needed this until I realized the stock Y connector wouldn't reach both light bars on my wider kayak. This one splits the single battery feed cleanly to both bars with no flicker, and the plugs click in solid.
Swapped this in on my canoe so one battery could run both light bars, and the connection clicked in tight with no flicker. The thicker gauge on the Y split is a real upgrade over the stock connector.
