Used these to strap a ladder and some lumber to my roof rack and they didn't budge the whole drive. The 1-inch width bites into the load nicely without slipping, and the stitching feels solid.
These held my boat frame down on the trailer without any slipping, and the 1" width fits through the smaller anchor points I've got. Only gripe is the loose end of the strap flaps around a bit once it's cinched, so I just tuck it.
Used these to lash my kayak to the roof rack and they held tight the whole drive, even on the highway. The 1-inch width is a bit narrow for heavier loads, but for the kayak and some lumber they did the job fine.
