These are the lightest running shoes I've owned, and the breathable upper actually keeps my feet from overheating on longer summer runs. The cushioned heel makes the kick-down feel soft without losing responsiveness.
Bought these for travel days and they've become my go-to for easy runs too. They pack down flat in my carry-on, and the kick-down heel makes slipping them on after a flight effortless.
Light and breathable, which is nice on hot runs, but the cushioning feels thin after about five miles and my feet start to ache. The kick-down heel is handy for slipping them on quickly, though. Fine for short easy days, just not my go-to for anything longer.
