Took this out for a three-day trek and the load distribution on my hips is honestly the best I've felt in a pack this size. The main compartment swallows gear without feeling bloated, and the suspension system kept my back from turning into a sweat sponge on the climbs.
I was skeptical about spending this much on a pack, but the hip belt padding is genuinely plush—no sore spots after an eight-mile day with 35 pounds in it. The frame transfers weight so well that I kept checking to make sure I wasn't forgetting gear at home.
The load transfer system really shines on steep climbs—my shoulders felt fresh even after a full day of hauling gear. The hip belt sits snug without digging in, and the frame keeps everything stable when scrambling over rocks. First pack I've owned where I forget I'm wearing it.
