That triangular shape sits flush against the wall better than round links I've used. Cranked it down with a wrench and it hasn't budged an inch. Solid steel, no flex at all.
Got this to use as a semi-permanent anchor in my truck bed, and the steel feels solid enough once I cranked it down with a wrench. That said, the gate threads were a little gritty going in, and I wish the opening were wider for thicker straps. It does the job, just don't expect to swap it out quickl
Does the job as a semi-permanent anchor ring once you crank it shut with a wrench, but the steel is heavier than I expected for a quick link. Fine for a fixed setup, less fun if you're planning to open it often.
