My calves usually freeze by the second lift, but the merino wool in these actually kept them warm without getting clammy. The full cushioning underfoot is thick enough that I stopped noticing the hard boot liners entirely.
Wore these for a full day on the slopes and never once had cold feet, which is rare for me. The merino wool breathes way better than my old synthetic pair, and the over-the-calf length stays put under boots.
