Got this for my kid's winter camping trip and the half-zip made layering under a jacket way easier than fumbling with a full crew neck. The lofted fabric kept her warm on the trail without making her sweat, and she actually kept it on the whole day.

The high loft channels are the real deal—my son stayed warm on the trails while the fabric still let air move so he didn't get clammy. The half zip made it easy for him to pull on solo before school.

My kid wore this for a whole ski weekend and never once complained about being cold, even on the chairlift. The air circulation is noticeable — he didn’t come back sweaty like he usually does.
