The pockets on these are genuinely usable—I fit my key and a gel in without anything bouncing. Did a hot tempo run and the fabric stayed dry the whole time, no chafing either.
Wore these for a 10k in muggy weather and they stayed dry the whole way, no chafing at all. The anti-odor thing actually works too — they went straight into my bag after and didn't smell when I pulled them out later.
The pockets actually hold my phone without it bouncing, which is rare for a tight short. Only gripe is they run a bit short in the inseam, but the anti-odor finish held up through a hot 10K.
