The shoulder straps are a lifesaver — no more yanking up waistbands mid-sled run. He stayed completely dry after an hour in wet snow, and the poly-taf lining means he never complained about them feeling cold.
The water resistant treatment held up fine in light snow, but after a couple hours of sledding the seat was damp. The poly-taf lining feels a bit thin for really cold days, though for milder winter wear they're okay.
