Wore this snowboarding in single digits and the dual layer actually kept the wind off my neck without fogging my goggles. The fleece inner layer feels soft against the skin, and it stayed put under my helmet all day.
Wore this under my helmet on a windy lift ride and my face stayed completely protected the whole time. The dual layer actually makes a difference on cold days, and it doesn't bunch up around the neck like my old single-layer one did.
Kept my face warm on a couple of cold lift rides and the dual layer really blocks the wind without feeling bulky. Only gripe is it takes a bit of fiddling to get it sitting right under my goggles, but once it's set it stays put.
