Took this 5mm cord on a weekend climbing trip and the kernmantle construction handled repeated abrasion against rock without any fraying. The low stretch really stood out when I needed a reliable anchor setup.
I've been using this 5mm cord for rigging and it handles abrasion surprisingly well, the Caprolan 2000 nylon feels denser than other cords I've tried. Low stretch is exactly as advertised, which makes it my go-to for anything load-bearing.
The kernmantle weave feels tight and uniform all the way through, which gives me confidence in the low-stretch claim when I'm hanging gear. Cut two lengths for a project and the ends didn't fray at all, so this 5mm should hold up for a long time outdoors.
