The crossbar gives me a solid, rattle-free spot to clamp my rod holder and fish finder without drilling extra holes. Bolted it on in about ten minutes and everything stayed tight through a full day of choppy water.
Bolted this crossbar onto my kayak's accessory rails and it's rock solid—no wobble at all even when I'm wrestling a rod holder onto it. The mounting point gives me a proper spot for my fish finder instead of balancing it on the deck. Exactly the sturdy base I needed to build out my fishing setup.
Installed fine and holds my rod holder steady, but the crossbar flexes a bit when I lean on it to pull up a fish. For the price I expected something stiffer.
