The poplin is lightweight enough that I didn't overheat wearing it straight through a warm afternoon outside, but it still looks crisp enough for a meeting. The plaid pattern is subtle enough that it doesn't clash with jeans or chinos, and it came out of the wash without needing much ironing.

Wore this to the office all day then straight out for a hike and it held up great. The poplin is lighter than I expected for a button-down, and the plaid still looked sharp after hours of wear.

The plaid is a bit bolder in person than the photos suggested, but honestly it works fine with chinos for the office. Wore it straight through to a patio lunch and it didn't feel stiff or heavy by the end of the day.
