Wore this on a windy ridge hike and it blocked the gusts completely without feeling clammy. The mini ripstop fabric seems tough enough to handle brush and branches too.
The fabric has that soft, dry feel and blocks wind surprisingly well for how little it weighs. Only gripe is the lack of a hood adjustment, so it flaps a bit on exposed stretches. Packs down tiny in my daypack, though.
