Swapped these onto my trekking poles before a muddy weekend and the wider baskets actually stopped the sinking I used to get on soft ground. They snapped on easy and stayed put the whole hike.
Wasn't sure these would fit my ski poles but they clicked right into place no problem. Standard size seems to be a true standard, and they feel sturdy enough for a full day on the trail.
Snapped these on my old poles in about a minute and they've stayed put through mud and loose gravel. The standard size fits my poles perfectly and they don't spin loose on descents like my last pair did.
