Ranger 2.0 Compass

Took this on a week-long backcountry trip and the mirror sighting made taking bearings on distant peaks way more precise than my old baseplate. The build feels properly rugged too — it survived getting knocked around in my pack without the vial ever bubbling.

The mirror sighting system is genuinely precise once you get the hang of aligning it, and the build feels like it'll survive being stuffed in a pack. Only gripe is the declination adjustment takes some fiddling to set, but it holds once it's dialed in.

The mirror sighting setup is genuinely precise, and I've been getting solid bearings off ridgelines where my old baseplate compass struggled. The declination adjustment takes some getting used to, but once you set it right it holds well.
