Skinned up a windy ridge last weekend and the bibs never felt clammy once, which I can't say for my old pair. The high-denier GORE-TEX Pro shell shrugged off wet snow on the descent, and the full bib coverage kept powder out when I took a tumble.

The GORE-TEX Pro fabric actually breathes on the climb instead of turning into a sweatbox, which I didn't expect from something this burly. Bibs never rode up once during a full day of touring and the fabric stayed dry through wet snow.

Wore these skinning up in wet spring snow and the GORE-TEX Pro kept me dry while I was sweating hard on the climb. The ePE membrane breathes way better than my old bibs, and the high-denier fabric shrugged off branches without a scratch.
