Swapped this in before a week-long hiking trip and the flow rate came right back to what it was when the purifier was new. Ten thousand liters per cartridge means I won't have to think about replacing it again for a long while.
Took this cartridge on a two-week backcountry trip and the water tasted clean the whole time, no grit or sediment at all. Ten thousand liters is a lot of filtering, so I'm set for a while before I need another one.
It does restore the flow rate and the water tastes clean again, but I'm only about 3,000 liters in and the stream already feels weaker than it did on day one. The 10,000+ liter claim seems optimistic to me.
