First run in these felt almost springy, like the shoe was rolling me forward instead of me pushing it. The CloudTec Phase sole is soft without feeling mushy, and my knees didn't ache after a 10k on pavement.
The CloudTec Phase cushioning really does make the miles feel softer, especially on longer road runs where my legs usually start complaining. First run out of the box and my feet settled in right away.
Took these out for a 5-mile road run and the CloudTec Phase cushioning really does feel smooth and soft underfoot. My only gripe is the tongue slips a bit before I get them laced up tight, but once they're on they stay comfortable the whole way.
