The recycled fleece on this is thinner than the classic version, which is exactly what I wanted for layering under a jacket. Snaps feel solid and it's already my go-to for cool mornings.

Wore this on a breezy 50-degree hike and it was just right, warm without getting clammy underneath. The snap placket is easy to pop open one-handed when you start heating up, and the double-sided fleece hasn't pilled at all after a few washes.

The fleece is genuinely soft and the snap placket works fine, but the "lightweight" label is a bit misleading since it's warmer than I expected for spring. It's a solid pullover, just not the thin layer I was after.
