Took this on a week-long trip that swung from warm nights to near freezing, and being able to strip it down to the lighter layer saved me from sweating through the mild ones. Zipping it back into the full bag for the cold stretch was quick and easy.

Took this on a trip that went from warm valley nights to a cold ridge and the 3-in-1 setup handled both without me hauling two bags. Zipping the layers apart and back together is quick, which matters when you're setting up in the dark.

The 3-in-1 setup really does let you dial in the warmth, and I used it as a lighter bag on mild nights and layered up when it dropped near freezing. Only gripe is that switching between configurations takes a bit of fiddling in the dark.
