Wore these for a muddy 10-miler and barely noticed them the whole time, which is exactly what I want. The lightweight fabric dries fast and doesn't chafe, and they still felt fine on the steep descents.

Took these on a steep, rocky climb last weekend and they never once felt restrictive on the switchbacks. The fit stays put without riding up, which is exactly what I need on long ascents.

These are super lightweight, which I really noticed on steep climbs where I didn't want fabric sticking to me. Only small gripe is there's no zip pocket for keys, but for quick trail runs they do the job.
