The waffle knit is stretchy enough that it doesn't squeeze my head, but it still blocks the wind on my walk to the train. The little woven pinecone on the side is a nice subtle touch too.

Kept my ears warm on a chilly morning walk and the waffle knit doesn't feel bulky under a hood. Only thing is it's a bit thinner than I expected, but it still does the job for mild winter days.
