First time tying down a kayak and the ratchet did all the work for me, cranked it snug in seconds. With the bow and stern both locked to the grab loops, the boat didn't budge a bit on the highway.

Slapped these on the bow and stern grab loops of my kayak and the boat didn't budge a millimeter on the highway. The ratchet crank makes it stupid easy to get everything drum-tight without fighting the straps.

The ratchet mechanism makes tightening the bow down so much quicker than the old rope setup I used to fight with. My boat didn't budge at all on a two-hour highway drive, and the grab loops clipped in without any fuss.
