Drove nine hours with two dogs and a trunk full of luggage, and the pets finally had the back seat to themselves. The box swallowed our tent, cooler, and camp chairs without a fight, and nothing shifted around on the highway.
Fits a ton of camping gear and still leaves the back seat free for the dog. The lid opens smoothly even when it's fully loaded, which I didn't expect at this price.
The extra room is nice and the box held up fine in rain, but the lid is heavier than I expected and lifting it onto the roof rack solo was a pain. It does the job, just not as easy to handle as I'd hoped.
