The grip on steep descents is honestly what sold me — I stopped slipping on loose gravel entirely. Breathable enough that my feet didn't overheat on a long climb, and the chassis still felt stable when I picked up the pace on the flats.
Wore these on a rocky 12-mile ridge run and the grip on the descents honestly surprised me — I never once felt my foot slide. The upper breathes well enough that my feet weren't swampy by the end, and they still felt supportive on the steep climbs.
Comfortable enough for long days out, but the breathable upper lets in a lot of dust on dry trails. The chassis feels stable on flats, I just wish it held up better on rocky sections.
