Wore this under a shell on a cold, windy hike and it kept me warm without feeling bulky. The knitted exterior looks smarter than a typical fleece, so it doesn't scream "outdoor gear" when I wear it into town.
The brushed inside is genuinely soft against bare skin, and the knitted exterior looks a lot nicer than typical fleece. I've been throwing it on for chilly morning dog walks and it's warm without feeling bulky.
Wore this under my shell on a wet, windy hike last weekend and stayed genuinely warm without overheating. The brushed inside is really soft, and the knitted exterior doesn't snag on my backpack straps like my old fleece did.
