Took these on a muddy weekend trail and the GTX lining kept my socks bone dry through every puddle. The chukka cut is a nice bonus, they look sharp enough to wear into town after without swapping shoes.

Wore these straight from the car into a drizzle and my feet stayed bone dry the whole hike thanks to the GTX lining. The chukka cut looks sharp enough for a casual dinner after, which I didn't expect from a hiker.

These handled a wet, muddy trail in the morning and still looked sharp enough for lunch in town afterward. The GTX waterproofing kept my socks completely dry through a few shallow creek crossings. Exactly the versatile hiker I was after.
