The fabric is way softer than I expected for a kids' shirt, and it's held up through several washes without fading. My daughter wore it straight through a muddy afternoon at the park and it cleaned up fine.

My son has worn this tee almost every day since it arrived and it's still holding its shape after countless washes. The short sleeves keep him cool during playtime, and the fabric feels soft enough that he never complains about putting it on.

The short sleeves hold up well through a full day of playground climbing, and my son says the fabric feels soft against his skin. Only gripe is the sizing runs a touch small, so I'd order up if your kid is between sizes.
