Didn't expect a sandal to feel this responsive on rocky descents, but the propulsion really comes through when you pick up the pace. The open design keeps my feet cool on long summer runs without the usual sloppy fit.
Wore these for a summer creek crossing and forgot I even had them on—the open sandal build keeps everything airy while the sole still feels springy and responsive when I pick up the pace. Genuinely a different feeling than any shoe I've run in.
Took these on a rocky ridge trail last weekend and the propulsion really is noticeable on climbs — they push you forward without the usual sandal sloppiness. The open design kept my feet from overheating on the long descent, which is exactly why I bought them.
