Wore these on a muddy six-mile loop and the traction on wet roots surprised me. The mid-height cut gives good ankle support without feeling bulky, and knowing they're built with recycled materials is a nice bonus.
The GTX lining actually kept my feet dry crossing a shallow creek, and the mid-height cut gave my ankles enough support without feeling stiff. I also like that the materials are more earth-friendly—rare to see that on a hiker that still performs.
Took these on a muddy 8-mile ridge hike and my feet stayed completely dry through the wet sections. The mid-height cut gives good ankle support without feeling bulky, and I like that they're built with recycled materials.
