These dried crazy fast after I got caught in a downpour — the water resistance actually works. The stretch in the fabric makes them comfortable for biking around town too, not just hiking.
Wore these on a week of humid hikes and the light fabric never felt clammy. The stretch really helps on steep scrambles, and light rain beaded right off instead of soaking in.
The stretch is nice for hiking and the water resistance actually held up in light rain. But the fabric feels thinner than I expected for something marketed as abrasion resistant, and the fit runs a bit loose in the legs.
