Mens Cloudrock Mid WP 1

Wore these on a wet, rocky ridge hike last weekend and the waterproof mid-cut kept my feet completely dry through a couple of stream crossings. The support around the ankle is solid on uneven ground without feeling stiff.

The mid-cut collar gives my ankles way more support on rocky descents than my old low runners did. Traction on wet roots was solid, though the laces took a couple hikes to break in.

The waterproofing held up fine in steady rain, but the mid-cut collar rubbed my ankle raw on the first few miles. Decent grip on loose gravel, though I expected a bit more cushioning for a full day out.
