Wore these on a three-mile hike and then straight to a patio for drinks, and they didn't feel out of place at either. The lightweight fabric dries fast if you sweat, and the stretch means no pinching when you crouch or climb over rocks.
Wore these on a two-hour ride then straight to a patio and never felt out of place. The stretch-woven fabric moves with you without that swishy feel, and they're light enough for a hot afternoon.
The stretch-woven fabric moves with you instead of fighting back, which is why these have become my go-to for everything from yard work to grabbing beers after. Only gripe is the waist runs a touch big, so plan to use the drawstring.
