The elastic cuffs actually do their job—no cold air sneaking up my sleeves on morning walks. It's thin enough to layer under a shell but still warm on its own.
Wore this on a breezy evening hike and the elastic cuffs actually kept the wind from sneaking up my sleeves. It's a full zip so I could vent it on the climb, then zip up at the summit.
Wore this on a breezy evening hike and it kept the chill off nicely, though the fabric is a bit thinner than I expected for a fleece. The full-zip is handy for venting when you warm up, and the fit runs true.
