Bought these for a trip where I needed something between flip-flops and hiking shoes, and they nailed it. The support underfoot is real but they still feel light and open like a sandal, so my feet never got that cramped, sweaty feeling on long walks.
I've been living in these on my morning dog walks and the support underfoot is honestly way better than a flip-flop. They're light enough that I forget I'm wearing them but still feel protected on gravel and roots.
Wore these straight out of the box on a two-mile walk and had zero break-in issues. They've got the flex of a flip-flop but I can actually feel the support under my arch on gravel.
