Wore this through a wet, heavy snow day and stayed completely dry — the H2No shell really holds up. I also like that I can pull the insulated liner out for milder days so it works almost year-round.
The zip-out liner is the best part—I skied with just that on a mild day and stayed perfectly warm without overheating. When the snow picked up I zipped the shell back on and stayed bone dry. Two jackets in one for the price of one is hard to beat.
Wore the shell alone on a wet spring hike and stayed completely dry, then zipped the liner back in for a cold morning at the resort and it was plenty warm. Having two jackets in one for the price is honestly the best part.
