Wore these straight out of the box for a weekend of dock hopping and errands, and the adjustable straps let me dial in the fit over my wide feet without any rubbing. Two weeks in and they've become the pair I grab by the door every time.
Wore these straight out of the box on a weeklong river trip and never got a single blister. The straps adjust enough that they stayed put scrambling over rocks but still slid off easy at camp.
The footbed molded to my arch after a couple of days, and the straps adjust easily without pinching. Took a star off because the buckle dug in a little on my first long walk, but it broke in fine after that.
