The longer length on this parka actually covers my daughter's backside, which makes school runs way less stressful in the cold. The quilting feels substantial without being bulky, so she can still move around and play.
My daughter wore this on a snowy trip last weekend and stayed toasty the whole time. The longer parka length really covers her legs when she's sitting in the sled, and the quilting feels light without being bulky.
Bought this for my daughter's walk to school in the cold and she hasn't complained once about being chilly. The extended length actually covers her bum, which is more than her last jacket did.
