The waterproofing on this actually holds up — I got caught in a steady rain for about an hour and stayed completely dry underneath. The insulation is warm without feeling bulky, so I can still layer a hoodie under it on colder mornings.
Wore this through a full day of wet snow and stayed completely dry — the GORE-TEX shell really holds up. The insulation is warm without turning me into a sweaty mess on the climbs, which I didn't expect.
Wore this through a full day of wet snow and stayed dry the whole time — the GORE-TEX shell really does its job. Only gripe is the hood feels a bit bulky when I'm not using it, but the insulation keeps me warm without overheating on the climb.
