Wore these straight from the boulder field to a casual dinner and they never felt out of place. The cotton has a bit of weight to it but the four-way stretch means I can high-step without anything pulling. Honestly the 9" length is perfect for me.

The four-way stretch is no joke — I wore these on a two-hour bouldering session and never once felt restricted on high steps. The 9" inseam hits right above the knee, so they don't ride up when I'm heel hooking.

The four-way stretch is what sold me, and it actually delivers on the wall — I can high-step without the fabric pulling tight across the thighs. Only gripe is the cotton takes a while to dry after a sweaty session, but for everything else they're solid.
