The boxy shape actually holds way more than I expected—my 15" laptop, a lunch box, and a rain shell all fit without bulging. The duffel-style fabric feels tough enough that I don't baby it on the train.

Took this on a soggy hike last weekend and the duffel-style fabric shrugged off the mud and drizzle completely. It sits flat against my back instead of bulging out, and the wide opening makes digging for my water bottle way less annoying.

The boxy shape actually holds more than it looks, and the Base Camp duffel fabric shrugs off rain on my bike commute. I've been stuffing a laptop, lunch, and a change of clothes in it daily for a month and the seams still look brand new.
