We took a standard issue trucker and added a rope cord along the brim to create our Straightaway Trucker Hat. Perfect for tucking away flies, important receipts, or anything else you’d rather keep on hand (or head), the Straightaway Trucker also features a mesh back and a snapback closure.
The rope cord along the brim is way more useful than I figured — I clip my sunglasses on it when I'm working outside and never have to dig for them. Fit is spot on and the brim keeps its shape.
Didn't expect to actually use the rope cord, but I've been tucking my sunglasses into it on hikes and they stay put. The brim holds its shape even after getting squished in my bag all weekend.
The rope cord along the brim is genuinely handy — I tuck my sunglasses in it when I'm switching between tasks outside. Only gripe is the mesh back lets in a lot of sun on really hot days, but for the price it's a solid everyday hat.
