A place for everything… This Rod Holder is designed to provide secure storage for your rod en route to the fishing grounds. Tensioned molded clips fit a majority of rod grips and can be installed along the side of your cockpit or under your gunwale.
The tensioned clips grip my rod handles firmly even when the kayak's bouncing over chop, so nothing slides around. I spaced a few along the hull for quick access and now there's a spot for every rod on the way out to the fishing grounds.
Mounted these along the gunwale before a morning paddle and my rod didn't budge once over the chop. The molded clips grip the handle snugly without scratching it, so I can slide the rod in one-handed while I'm still steadying the kayak.
The tensioned clips hold my rod grips fine, but the kit only came with four clips and no screws, so I had to dig through my spare hardware bin. They work once mounted, just wish the mounting hardware was included.
