The unstructured crown is the best part, it actually molds to my head instead of sitting stiff like a cardboard box. The dark under-brim really does cut glare on bright days.
Wore this hiking all day and the dark under-brim actually made a difference squinting into the sun. The pliable brim bends however I want it, and it's held that shape after a few weeks of daily wear.
The soft unstructured crown is what sold me — it actually folds down flat in a backpack and doesn't come out creased. The dark under-brim really does cut the glare on bright afternoon drives. Only gripe is the snapback closure feels a little stiff at first, but it's loosening up.
